Pickup of the Deceased

Whether your loved one is in a hospital, at home or in a hospice, they will need to be picked up and their remains prepared for burial or cremation.
N.B. The Funeral home that you choose to pickup your Loved one will typically be required to do many other services such as booking a gravesite, preparation of the body and transport of your loved one to the service and cemetery. When choosing a Pickup, you will typically use the same Funeral home for the Burial

Coffins/Urns

Coffin or Urn selection

You will need to choose a Coffin or Urn for your Loved one. You can find a comprehensive selection of Coffins, Caskets and Urns in our app.

Interment

Burial/Cremation

The actual burial or interment of your Loved one at the cemetery of your choice or the Cremation of your Loved one.
N.B. The Funeral home that you choose to pickup your Loved one typically does this. When choosing a Pickup, you will typically use the same Funeral home for the Burial.

Church/Halls

Church/Hall Bookings

You will need to book a venue for the service. It is best to book a venue that is not too far from the Cemetery where your Loved one will be buried. View a list of available Churches, Halls and Shuls in our app..

Transportation

Transportation Services

It is customary to book transportation for some of your relatives to attend the service and burial. You will find a list of transportation providers in our app.

Florists

Flowers & Arrangements

You will need to decide on and book floral arrangements and any decorations for the coffin, gravesite and the venue of the service or reception. View a list of available florists in our app.

Catering

You will need to decide on and book catering arrangements for the reception. View a list of available caterers in our app.

Photo/Videography

You may want to decide on and book a photographer or someone to film the proceedings. Videographers can also provide live streaming of the funeral. View a list of available photo/videographers in our app.

Obituaries

You may want to issue an obituary in the newspapers. You can write and issue an obituary from our app.

Tombstones

It is customary to order a head/tombstone after your Loved one has been buried. You can find a comprehensive selection of tombstones in our app.

Home Cleaning

Cleaning Services

You may want to have your loved one's home or garden professionally cleaned as part of wrapping up their estate or if you are using the home for a reception, wake or after-tears. View a list of professional cleaning services in our app.
